Commercial Fitness Revamped for Body Basics Web Site
At that time, another very important part of their business–Commercial sales–received a mere one page of text listing types of commercial fitness brands available at Body Basics. This summer we received a directive from the client to turn that page into an interesting and informative Commercial section.
One of the key differences in commercial fitness sales is that it is not as brand or model-driven as residential sales. These shoppers don’t spend a lot of time looking up specs on all the specific pieces of equipment. Instead, the “commercial” customer is typically an owner or manager wanting to install a fitness center in an apartment complex, a hotel or in their business for employees. They may be a physical therapy center, a professional fitness trainer or a fitness club. What matters most to all of them is getting the right mix of fitness equipment for their customers within their budget. So this section of the web site was more of an opportunity to showcase the experience Body Basics has in helping all these types of customers. We used photo galleries and some light text to relate to each type of client.
We utilized the same basic flow and structure as the residential pages to display categories of commercial equipment and the brands within those categories. But instead of drilling into specific product pages of information, this was one of a few advantageous times to link the visitor to the manufacturer’s web site if they chose to learn more of what’s available. The revamped commercial section is structured and written to appeal to that unique “commercial” customer–to build trust and credibility that Body Basics can very satisfactorily handle any kind or size commercial fitness project.
Vamonos Marketing supplied photos and wrote most of the text for the new Commercial section with some content provided by Catena Creations. Justin Wolta with Momma’s Boy Design provided graphics. Programming for the Commercial pages was completed by Boombatower Development who has been with us from the very beginning building this new Body Basics web site.

Here are some web sites completed by Vamonos Marketing
Aqua Palace
This extensive site is constantly adapted to reflect all this spa and pool store has to offer. The site is heavier on brand and product information to keep the consumer from needing to go to other sites. The site also includes a shop on-line store water care products and accessories.
The Omaha Pool Builder
Aqua Palace wanted an information site to educate consumers of the different types of swimming pools for their backyard. This high-end pool builder uses the site to also showcase completed projects and satisfied owners as well provide a blog of the lastest information on pool options, safety, and water care. The web site features extensive use of jquery effects.
Rêvé Salon & Spa
The premier full-service salon started off with a very plain two-page web site. The objective was to upgrade the site to market all the services and the team in a very classy, clean manner. The colors and look of the site reflect the beautiful wood interior of the salon and spa.
Avalon Suites – Salon & Spa
There was a two-fold challenge given to us in building this web site for a salon of leased hair and beauty professionals. Foremost, the site needed to provide consumers the what, who and where of the salon in west Omaha. The second goal was to sell independent beauty professionals on why to lease space at Avalon. We approached the leased side as having a site within the site that catered to their lingo and objectives.
Mr. Ed’s Flagpole Co.
We were given this project that included an archaic web site, a bad domain name and a limited budget. Our first call to action was to replace mredsenterprises.com with a url that reflected what the business was about. We built half the site on an e-commerce program to better organize and display the many different flags—with the plan of eventually adding all the products and converting the site to an on-line store.
Emergency Dental Care USA of Seattle
This is one of quite a few web sites we have built for this Omaha corporation expanding across the country with either corporate or affiliate locations. The key emphasis of this simple site is to provide essential information to people in pain on what Emergency Dental Care can do to help as well as how to reach and find the clinic. The site is built on WordPress because of its flexibility and ability to index quickly on search engines.
