Frontier Savings Bank continually emphasizes how they want to make their customers feel at home in the bank. So the idea was to go to the extreme in making the bank a customer’s home! The bank loved it. This ad went from concept to finished commercial within three weeks–quite the record time and a hit for the bank.

PostHeaderIcon Welcome! Why Vamonos?

Welcome to my web site! Vamonos Marketing is new. But yours truly isn’t. This agency began as Miller Marketing in 2000, when I left the thralls of corporate Radio… That’s a whole story in and of itself. There’s a good part of what I took from my Radio career that went into the vision of Vamonos Marketing. In the Radio biz you were always getting beat up by reminders of what you were not, compared to other media. “I can’t list all my products and details on Radio like in my newspaper ad…”, “There’s no picture in this :30 spot; how can they see what I do?”, “Can’t put exciting video on Radio like in my beautiful TV commercial…”, or the blatant, “You’re just puffs of air coming from my speakers! What good can that do?” In 15 years of Radio, I heard it all. But there was an advantage in that medium I came to appreciate—that no one could take from us. Radio kept up with busy people and lifestyles. Where ever you took the Radio, my client’s messages came right along. It’s a mobile medium that can go home, in the car, at work, to the park… any where! When I started Miller Marketing I continued to use Radio for that very benefit. Because people were not slowing down anytime soon; and lifestyles were just becoming busier and crazier. You needed a mobile medium that kept pace with consumers and Radio did a wonderful job. Over the years I saw other mediums take on that same advantage. Wi-fi meant the laptop could display a web site in more places. The 3G networks took the web and e-mails out even further. The texting craze presented a marketing opportunity that was everywhere! Marketing was going mobile. Instead of one medium, you had multiple—and consumers were gobbling them up. My agency needed to reflect the trend. Back in my Spanish-speaking missionary days “vamonos” was a term I heard often for “let’s go!” I liked that. What a good fit and name for my agency. That and the dot com domain was available! So I jumped on it, but took a number of months to clarify the vision and formulate the plan before making the big switch. Now I’ve done it and Vamonos Marketing is official. So let’s go! Let’s get your message out to consumers on the run. And between their car, their phone and the web, they’ll respond!

PostHeaderIcon Aqua Palace Spas & Pool of Council Bluffs - Testimonials

Aqua Palace arranged for four customers to come in the store one day to video tape their spontaneous thoughts and feelings about the store and owning a hot tub. Every customer was enthused, articulate and convincing. It was difficult choosing which cuts of the interviews to use but finally came up with a great flow of testimonial clips and footage to make up a :30 commercial.

This extensive site is constantly adapted to reflect all this spa and pool store has to offer. The site is heavier on brand and product information to keep the consumer from needing to go to other sites. The site also includes a shop on-line store water care products and accessories.

The Omaha Pool Builder
Aqua Palace wanted an information site to educate consumers of the different types of swimming pools for their backyard. This high-end pool builder uses the site to also showcase completed projects and satisfied owners as well provide a blog of the lastest information on pool options, safety, and water care. The web site features extensive use of jquery effects.

reve-screen

www.reveomaha.com

Rêvé Salon & Spa
The premier full-service salon started off with a very plain two-page web site. The objective was to upgrade the site to market all the services and the team in a very classy, clean manner. The colors and look of the site reflect the beautiful wood interior of the salon and spa.

avalon-screen

www.avalonsuitesomaha.com

Avalon Suites – Salon & Spa
There was a two-fold challenge given to us in building this web site for a salon of leased hair and beauty professionals. Foremost, the site needed to provide consumers the what, who and where of the salon in west Omaha. The second goal was to sell independent beauty professionals on why to lease space at Avalon. We approached the leased side as having a site within the site that catered to their lingo and objectives.

mr-eds-flags-screen

www.mredsflags.com

Mr. Ed’s Flagpole Co.
We were given this project that included an archaic web site, a bad domain name and a limited budget. Our first call to action was to replace mredsenterprises.com with a url that reflected what the business was about. We built half the site on an e-commerce program to better organize and display the many different flags—with the plan of eventually adding all the products and converting the site to an on-line store.

seattle-emergency-dental-screen

www.seattleemergencydental.com

Emergency Dental Care USA of Seattle
This is one of quite a few web sites we have built for this Omaha corporation expanding across the country with either corporate or affiliate locations. The key emphasis of this simple site is to provide essential information to people in pain on what Emergency Dental Care can do to help as well as how to reach and find the clinic. The site is built on WordPress because of its flexibility and ability to index quickly on search engines.

2010: Vamonos to Social Media Marketing!
Out of the daze and craze of 2009 I can say in shear exhaustion that it’s been a year of great learning and transition, including our re-focus and conversion to Vamonos Marketing.
